Covid-19 Funding

Ocean Youth Trust South (OYT South) provides sailing adventures as a means of personal development for young people aged 12 to 25, many of whom are disadvantaged or vulnerable.

The Ellis Campbell Foundation has been a long-term supporter of the Ocean Youth Trust, and given our knowledge of the hugely impactful work they do with young people, we wanted to ensure the disruption caused by Covid did not cause the charity to fail so we continued to support staff costs over and above the furlough to ensure the team was fully supported.

The Foundation awarded a grant of £25,000.

Future Funding

Having supported a broad range of inspiring and transformational projects over the Foundation’s 30 year history, the Trustees decided to embark upon a strategic review to ensure our grants were having the greatest impact. In 2020 we completed an intensive eight month programme led by Ten Years’ Time and we’re thrilled to be focussing all our efforts now on building Youth Power and Leadership with some fantastic partners.
