Perth Autism Youth Theatre

Perth Autism Youth Theatre is the first and only one of its kind in Scotland and provides exciting, engaging theatre activities for young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The programme is delivered to three age groups and enables young people to express themselves, develop transferrable skills, increase activity levels and improve life chances in a safe and supportive environment.

This special arts education project has a profound impact on the young people who attend and helps to advance education by encouraging performing arts and promoting creativity, skills development, personal and social development and lifelong learning.

Please visit the Horsecross Arts website to find out more about this wonderful programme.

Future Funding

Having supported a broad range of inspiring and transformational projects over the Foundation’s 30 year history, the Trustees decided to embark upon a strategic review to ensure our grants were having the greatest impact. In 2020 we completed an intensive eight month programme led by Ten Years’ Time and we’re thrilled to be focussing all our efforts now on building Youth Power and Leadership with some fantastic partners.
